Email Newsletters

Email newsletters (or e-newsletters) are a great way to keep people informed about your company and any new services you offer. The process involves sending out a professional, customised email to your contacts which arrives in their inbox.

Media Matters email newsletterThey can be very cost-effective when compared to printed newsletters with the added benefit of being able to be forwarded by recipients to their friends / colleagues.

Email newsletters are completely measurable as we include a statistics package enabling you to see who has (or has not) opened the email and clicked on the links.

If you’d prefer to publicise an event or particular product, we also offer an e-shot service. E-shots are similar to email newsletters but tend to be used for invitations/notification of offers instead of company news. For more information please call 01733 371363 or email suzanne@mediamatters-pr.co.uk.

Sign-up to the Media Matters monthly email newsletter to receive all the latest news and updates.

What’s the advantage of email newsletters over printed ones?

Cost: Significant savings can be made, as there are no printing and postage costs to deal with. Once you have a template email set up you can simply reuse it while changing the copy/images as needed.

Statistics: With e-newsletters, you can see exactly who has/hasn’t opened the email and if they clicked on a link through to your website. This can be very useful as you can put together a list of what specific contacts have looked at on a regular basis (resulting in more targeted marketing in the future).

Response time: Generally, people are much quicker to read and respond to email newsletters/e-shots (especially important if you have an event you want to publicise). Because your contacts have opted-in to receiving the emails they tend to be a much more receptive audience.

Reach: Email newsletters/e-shots can be ‘viral’ in the sense that people have the ability to forward it to each other. This is obviously great exposure for your company and best of all, it’s free!
