Media Matters raise £3,000 for NSPCC Peterborough Business Support Group

With all the money safely collected from generous sponsors, the Media Matters' team was proud to officially present the proceeds of their charity walk to the Peterborough Business Support Group of the NSPCC.

By completing the 32 mile Hambleton Hobble in North Yorkshire, Media Matters raised £2,742 which, with Gift Aid taken into account, meant the grand total topped £3,000.

"We'd like to think that not only have we raised a substantial amount of money which will go directly to projects supporting vulnerable youngsters in Peterborough but that we may have encouraged other businesses to launch their own fund raising efforts," said managing director Peter Corder.
