"The session was incredibly useful and really opened our eyes. The overview was extremely competent yet explained very clearly at a basic level to account for all levels of understanding. The session was tailor-made, which was the main benefit of the course.”

Search Engine Optimisation in Peterborough

Nowadays, simply having a nice looking website isn’t enough. If people can’t find your site in Google under a wide range of key-phrases it obviously isn’t working to its full potential.

When you consider that most people don’t look beyond the first page of search results, it’s vital that your website is as SEO-friendly as possible.

Media Matters are experts in Search Engine Optimisation which is a process used by search engines (such as Google) to link phrases to relevant websites. There are three parts to basic SEO – titles, keywords and descriptions - and without these you will struggle to get your website ranked highly.

Our Search Engine Optimisation process involves the following:

•    Researching keywords people might use to find your website.
•    Analysing potential traffic you could gain from these keywords.
•    Analysing the competition for these keywords.
•    Finding keywords that have a good amount of searches per month, but low competition.
•    Once the keywords are finalised, we will provide you with a report on where you currently appear in searches for those phrases.
•    Adding titles, descriptions and keywords for each individual page.
•    Optimising for other search engines such as Yahoo and Bing (which require slightly different criteria to Google).
