Media Matters was proud to sponsor the Best Media Student award at Peterborough Regional College's annual presentation evening. Winner Daniel Munns has completed his second year and, according to his tutors, is "very good at television practical work".

Daniel was presented with his award by celebrity guest, international wheelchair basketball player Ade Adepitan, and Media Matters' accounts director Dawn Strange.

Dawn said: "It was a privilege to be involved. People knock the younger generation but events like this prove the critics wrong. The 60 students receiving awards deserved recognition. Congratulations to them and to PRC for staging a great event." You can read Dawn's blog about the event here.
