Meet the Team

PETER CORDER - managing director
Peter spent nearly 20 years in regional newspaper journalism, latterly as editorial director. He started Media Matters in 1994 and has extensive experience in media management, PR and marketing.

DAWN STRANGE – accounts director
Dawn is a qualified journalist who worked in regional media, to news editor level, before joining Media Matters in 1995. She has worked on accounts in a range of sectors, delivering both PR and marketing campaigns. She currently leads a multi-disciplinary team working for a national client.
Coming from an estate agency and latterly a newspaper sales background, Angie joined the Media Matters team in 2000. A firm understanding of print media, Angie works predominately on media buying and event management for regional and national clients.

CETTI LONG – account executive
A trained newspaper journalist, Cetti spent 10 years working on regional newspapers before joining Media Matters as PR account handler in 1997. She has experience and skills in the fields of PR and marketing, and more recently, writing website copy.
KAREN McNULTY – marketing consultant
Karen is a chartered marketer with more than 18 years experience marketing for a wide range of businesses. She specialises in Internet marketing, which includes online marketing strategy, Pay Per Click advertising, search engine optimisation (SEO) and email marketing.

NILESH PATEL – new media executive
Nilesh joined the Media Matters team in 2008, having worked for 10 years in the advertising department of a busy evening newspaper. With a sound knowledge of the workings of the local media, Nilesh is responsible for media buying and planning.

SUZANNE OSTLER – account executive
Suzanne is a trained newspaper journalist, having worked on regional daily newspapers. She has over a decade’s experience of writing for national magazines. Suzanne joined Media Matters in 2006, using her media skills to provide PR to a range of clients.
SALLY BALDERSTON - media administration co-ordinator
Every office needs a point of contact, and the ‘hub’ of Media Matters is Sally – who deals with general office administration and invoicing. Sally joined Media Matters in 2006, and is key to the businesses’ advertising workload – following the whole process from booking to checking adverts appearing in print.
JILL JACKSON – IT support co-ordinator
Jill’s expertise lies in the technical side of the business, in both an advisory and practical capacity. Jill has worked for Media Matters since the company formed in 1994, and has an invaluable knowledge of Apple Mac and PC software programs.

ROBERTO RODRIGUEZ – online marketing consultant
While Rob’s background is in the research field, he also has considerable experience in online media. He has extensive knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) as well as forms of ‘new media’ such as blogging and social networking.

LYNDA TOLSON – management accounts
Lynda provides the business with an invaluable back-office accounts service, ensuring that suppliers are paid, clients are invoiced and Media Matters makes a profit! She has extensive experience in accounts and admin.
